"Great area, walkable to the ByWard market, Parliament Hill, and the Rideau Canal for skating. Friendly staff, and the room was nice and clean. A couple areas in the hotel could use a refresh, but it has it's charm nonetheless. There's only valet parking offered, but there is an underground lot across the street. Would also prefer if the room had a safe. "

"It was a renovated YMCA. They kept the character of the original building. We noticed that the onsite restaurant was always full at brunch and dinner. A very good sign. "
