I only had two concerns: On one of the wooden rails of the stairs wood is being rotted away underneath the paint, leading into the railing to move under my hand. Some of the metal covers was missing in the spa bath. Was a lovely place and very close to town, will be back to stay "

This is a functioning hotel with live music and functions; there are noise reducing glass doors to separate the hotel rooms but you’ll still be aware of some noise. Check in was quick and easy. "This property far exceeded our expectations. Historic property with plenty to do onsite. Paddle boats on the lake, electric bikes, playground, indoor heated pool, games, vege garden/ fruit trees to help yourself. The apartment we had slept 4 with good kitchen facilities and living space. Huge bedrooms! Little booklet with a short history of the property was a nice touch. The only thing id change would be an update to the mattress which was far to soft and for the soft furnishings to be...

"I made the booking for my parents who are quite elderly. David could not have been more helpful in ensuring they felt comfortable, welcome and had all they needed. You dont find this level of service at the big chains. The location is outstanding, especially for the nearby hospitals. Overall could not recommend more highly. "
