"My husband and I spent our 1-year wedding anniversary in Portland. It was my 1st time and his 2nd; we were welcomed warmly by the front staff when we arrived. Got to our room with a sweet card wishing us a Happy Anniversary. We explored a little bit of the city but ended up at the end of the night spending a lot of time in the hotel bar/restaurant. Annie is incredible, amazing conversations with many patrons. We can't wait to go back and will definitely be staying here again! "

"The Heathman is beautiful and the staff are great. We had a few problems, though. We went to our room after being out and the door card didn’t work. We asked for help and they forgot about us. We had to call a second time. It turns out the battery had died. It took quite some time to get us in the room and we almost missed the performance we had paid for, next door. Then, when we left, it was apparent that one of the valet staff had changed the radio station and got the floor quite dirty. The...

"Overall it was great. The only downside was how to get a decent cup of coffee in the morning?! I had room service for breakfast, but there was NO OPTION for coffee! We had in room, but yuck. When i ordered breakfast under beverage there was no coffee! We're Portland! Where is the coffee with real 1// 1/2?"

"The hotel is conveniently located in the Pearl District. Easy access to public transportation. The facility is well kept, clean, and new. Some deep cleaning in the room (wall to floor, curtain stains, dusting headboard) might be needed, but very good overall. Avoid east to waterfront area. The front desk receptionists, bartender, housekeeping staff are all very helpful and friendly. "
