"Property is very grand and well maintained. There is some work going on in the grounds at the moment but that doesn't detract from the way it looks or is presented. Rooms in the paddock annex are nice but wifi was lacking which wasn't ideal as we were there for work purposes. Only other downside, is that the food choices are either high end or the bar menu which itself is limited. There needs to be more a mid-range restaurant option in my opinion. "Hotel is lovely, but the room (mainly bathroom) was old and tired. I landed up in the disabled room which all the rail, shower seat etc were all rusty and could have done with replacing. Otherwise lovely hotel, pub and restaurant. Will stay there again "

"Overnight stay to visit family in Northampton. The hotel is conveniently placed just off the A45 expressway, and has a large free carpark. Check in was swift and our room was located at the far end of a corridor (which was great as we had asked for a quiet location). The room was large and comfortable. Both the bedroom and bathroom were clean and tidy. We ate in the bar and the food was enjoyable if a little overpriced. Cannot comment on breakfast as we were room only."
