"Lovely one night stay in 18th Century coaching Inn. Room was great. Staff were friendly and very efficient. Great evening meal and breakfast. Pity about the guests in the next room who thought singing at 4 am was a good idea."

"I received a really friendly welcome from Penny and had a very nice, clean, spacious room. This is an old building so clearly isn’t shiny and new, but was perfectly adequate for my requirements. It was lovely having the bar downstairs, and the offer of pub food if needed. Would definitely stay there again. Excellent value and lovely, friendly staff. Lots of free parking in their car park. "

"A 1 night stay for work reasons. The pub and food are excellent with a good selection at a reasonable price. My room was comfortable but very cold due to the old leaking sash windows. All in all for the price it's ok for a 1 night stay. "

"I decided, very last minute, to use a hotel as we were celebrating a friend's birthday nearby. I had been given a room on the top floor, but there wasn't a lift and I have a knee problem, so I was swiftly swapped to a ground floor room. The room was excellent value for money. Even though the hotel is only rated 3*, it had an iron and ironing board, tea and coffee, a TV, a safe, free wi-fi, laundry service, and a gorgeously comfortable bed.
