"Fabulous! A truly relaxing home from home, with friendly and professional staff. We appreciated the quiet of our room ( we didn’t hear other guests), it's draftproofed sash window with view over the seashore, along with a comfortable bed and sufficient space in the room to be at ease. We really enjoyed the warm, cosy and relaxed atmosphere downstairs , the character of the place and tasteful interiors, and last, but not least, the delightful christmas tree in the dining area! "We had a nice stay at this hotel; friendly staff, nice food, good sized bedroom and lovely views. We had a standard turret bedroom and whilst it was spacious, the en suite was really small and felt like a shower had been squeezed into a room that used to be a toilet room. There was no space to swing an earwig let alone a cat! The toilet had a cigarette burn on it and the lid on the plastic cistern didn’t fit on the tank. "Had a lovely 1 night stay at this hotel with my daughter when visiting friends. Hotel was very clean, perfectly situated for exploring the area, staff were so welcoming and friendly (we especially loved Ruby the dog at breakfast) We would like to return in summer for a longer stay."

"The hotel was lovely; the rooms were very well appointed and comfortable. It was very quiet and relaxing. The common rooms were very nice and welcoming. The staff was professional, gracious and friendly. We spent a lovely cocktail hour in the lounge and enjoyed delicious custom cocktails. Dinner and breakfast were first rate! Local foods, creatively prepared. We went for an afternoon hike along the canal, which was easy to access from the property. Highly recommend this property."
