"Beautiful old prison…. Renovated so sympathetically into an amazing boutique hotel …all the staff are lovely and create a very relaxing atmosphere…ideally situated in the centre of Oxford… a 2 minute walk to all shops,bars and entertainment. Already booked to come back.. "

"Lovely from start to finish. Highly recommend Jody’s magic hands for a massage in spa6. Only downside was a noisy fridge in the room, and (I never thought I’d say this) an over-attentive waiter trying to take our dinner plates before we’d finished our meal in the Boathouse"

"Hotel room not really cleaned or bed made after 1st night stay just looked like towels changed and duvets pulled back over bed. Hotel rooms and corridors in need of an upgrade very tired and bath had chip out of it"

"Great hotel close to Blenheim Palace and Bicester. Lovely breakfast. Only rating 4 stars as really difficult to get in contact with hotel beforehand but once we were there the staff was lovely and the hotel was a really convenient spot for our trip. We will definitely return on our next visit to Blenheim. "
