"There was everything I needed and more, but so much needed repairing or maintaining. I was particularly unhappy about the reluctance to observe standard fire precautions at night evidenced by the wedging open of fire and smoke stop doors. This was noted at 23:00 hrs. Very pleased to find breakfast was included, and that ironing facilities were available without request. "

"Basic but functional. Looking rather tired. What I found irksome was a £20 penalty charge for early check in at 1.30pm, even though rooms were available! So I filled up with fuel and had a coffee until after 3pm when there is no charge."

"I was In the old part and it needs updating badly. Excited when I saw a spa bath in my room but bath was worn around the plug area and not appealing so wasted. Toilet was stained with brown as old. Taps on sink worn and spun round a lot before water came out. "

"My husband and I stayed here while visiting the Cotswold's and it was a fantastic stay. It is close to all the main little towns you would want to see (all within a 45min drive) but, it is also completed secluded which is so nice too. The hotel itself is lovely- warm, cozy, modern, clean. They have a beautiful outdoor terrace, opened even in the winter.
