"We stayed here to see Christmas markets in Cologne. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Staff was very nice. Location was not really directly near the center of the city action, however it was a ten minute walk to the train into Cologne. We also used the gym. It was very basic, but worked. Our only complaint was the room being too hot (in December)."

Not too bad of a walk to get to the subway to transfer to the Main train station. Would definitely stay here again if I return to the city!"

"Great clean, modern hotel. It is a bit off the beaten path, but there's a train station a couple of blocks away that takes you to the Hauptbahnhof, so very convenient. One of the best hotel breakfasts I've had in a long time."

The spa was confusing not knowing how to get around it from our room and we were not told we could access the breakfast restaurant through the sauna area and walked completely around the block, in the cold, to eat breakfast. "Maike at the front desk was very gracious, knowledgeable, and helpful. Her advice and the Weihnaktsmarkts was spot-on, including the Strassenbahn lines. Dinner was great, with wonderful service. This is one of the nicest hotels Ive ever stayed at."
