"The bedroom was well appointed with lovely Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries. There was large soft bath towels, tea making equipment, comfortable bed, TV, and nice lighting. Even though my room overlooked a busy road the room was very quiet I would definitely stay there again. "

"Just stayed one night as we had a morning flight from Manchester airport. Comfortable room, dined in the hotel as the weather was awful and the meal was fine, breakfast was a full buffet and was excellent. Easy to get to the airport and there is a handy gas/petrol station with only a slight detour before returning the rental car. Free parking too which was good."

"Corridors & hotel room tired e.g. torn wallpaper, scuffed table. Receptionist accused me of not paying for dinner the night before where I had to provide a credit card statement as proof of payment as apparently the till receipt wasn’t suffice & the Waiter didn’t provide a pdq receipt. Fantastic facilities & grounds & felt very festive!"
