"Food was very very good. Staff pleasant, friendly and helpful. Cleanliness good. Beautiful white tablecloths and napkins. View from hotel is fabulous as it’s right on river with barges. Building is unfortunately very tired and needs complete renovation and painting. "

"Characterful coaching inn situated in this lovely market town. My room was large, warm, with a four poster bed, clawfoot free standing bath in my ensuite, and French doors opening onto the small garden. Excellent breakfast."

"The staff and service at the hotel was superb, myself and wife stayed for a few days while visiting Bicester Village which is very close to the hotel. The breakfast each morning was outstanding the poached eggs on avocado was delicious, we also enjoyed dinner on 2 nights and the value for money on the Sunday lunch menu was amazing. Definitely will be back."

"Conveniently located. B&B advertised, but only after booking do you get an e-mail to say there’s no breakfast offered. Not sure if the price reflects this, as for a room only basis it is quite pricey. "

"It was exactly what I needed, a comfortable room for one night. The room was clean and tidy with space to put things down (not always the case) and it was just fine. My only issue - but it wasn't too much of an issue - was that my room was right next to the front door so I heard as folk went in and out. "

Staff, 1 person male was outstanding (sorry can’t remember his name), my partner and I reserved a table at the restaurant (food was amazing) he recommended the best steak ever to my partner. He went above and beyond. All I can say thank you for a really lovely stay 😊"
