"Lovely quiet location with easy parking. Although obviously an old building, the communal areas are reasonably updated. The staff I thought were without exception very nice and service-conscious. Food was lovely too and good value. A bit of a general smell in the corridors, of foist just about covered up by cleaning products. It may bother some."

"1 night stay, so didn't have enough time to try out the pool, but otherwise an enjoyable stay. Staff were amazingly friendly, helpful and informative. Room was nice size with comfy bed and little extras like robes and slippers. Only issue was no shower gel in shower just shampoo and conditioner. Had an evening meal which we thoroughly enjoyed.
