"This hotel is close to the train station, about a 5-10 minute walk. Check in was easy. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. It was about a 10 minute walk north from the hotel to get to an area with interesting restaurants and shops. I also like that you can book a room with a washing machine, although I didn't not do so myself. If I visit Matsumoto again, I would definitely look to stay here."

"I understand Toyoko Inns are not five star luxury hotels but I was still a tiny bit disappointed at how basic the facilities were. The room was tiny but they made good use of the space.
