"This stay was amazing, though it should be noted that Arlecchino was closed down and the hotel booking was actually for Hotel Olympia next door. This was an AMAZING hotel, the staff (specifically Maria) were incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was gorgeous and had canal views out the window. Location was right by the Piazzale Roma (transit) and great restaurants with easy walking access everywhere. Highly recommend!"

"The Accademia/Maravege is a delightful family-run historic Pensione that has been cosily modernised in a good convenient location in the Dorsoduro area near the Accademia Bridge vaporetto stop on the Grand Canal - with many excellent local restaurants! The staff are very attentive and welcoming. The rooms are comfortable and well-furnished, and the breakfast selection is good and tasty. It also has a lovely front patio and rare courtyard garden. Highly recommended."
