"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel personnel was more than helpful. We had a minor medical situation and they went out of their way to help us find medical attention. This was more complicated because many clinics were closed due to a holiday but they made many phone calls and found a solution for us. We are very grateful for their diligence. The hotel itself is very new and the decor is quite modern. Everything was clean and in perfect condition."

We had a superbly decorated very very very large traditional room (tatamis), a view of the little port and the sea of Japan with sunset…. And we discovered once there that one could book their private onsen! Oh and yes, it’s ‘only’ a 100 years old family hotel…. "The property is a real gem. A bit dated but don't let that put you off. Great location, amazing traditional breakfast, great little public bath and super nice staff. Just remember to take your shoes off before entering."

"This was our last night away and we had a great night, the room had a hot tub on the balcony facing the beach it was lovely. We also had a tatami room and king size bed which was very comfortable. Fantastic spot."
