"Alongside the A1 but you would never know, so quiet. Convenient back road into Bamburgh and loveky view across farmland. Breakfast was excellent cereals, fruit juice, toast and jams. 2 sausages, 2 bacon, beans, hash browns and choice of how your eggs cooked. Also ate in the restaurant and cafe both excellent. Room was clean, tea coffee and good shower. Stayed four nights, couldn't fault it. Staff really nice. "

"Great for a one night stay but be warned. You have to pay £10 to park your car overnight although I got mine for free due to my Hotels.com membership. Room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. There was a Mini fridge, hairdryer, iron and ironing board and the towels were nice and fluffy (some things you don’t always get). Only complaint was that the heated towel rail in the bathroom was rusty and I couldn’t work out how to turn it on. Would definitely recommend "

"Brilliant hotel, unfortunately the food let it down. We had an evening meal wigh over cooked mixed grill and cold and the breakfast came cold. Definitely not worth eating here. Which is a huge shame as the hotel rooms are fantastic."
