"An overnight stay during some hospital day treatments. Staff very understandable and co operative when I discussed the problem of husband not being well enough to leave room or able to eat and drink at the dining area. Was permitted to take food and drink up to our room and although they do not offer room service provided support with this. "

"Had a lovely day out at the nearby zoo and this hotel was very convenient to be able to stay close by and enjoy a mini break. The staff and service was brilliant and really friendly. The hotel is a little tired in places but the room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Disappointed that the swimming pool was closed during our stay but it didn't affect our overall experience. Food in the restaurant was lovely and breakfast was also really good with lots to choose from. Would recommend "

"Overall a good stay - The night porter( manager) was excellent. Comfy bed.. Dissapointed by the breakfast - Cold plates! Hot food not that hot and scrambled eggs had gone green as left for too long. Coffee on side not individual pots, cold even when new lot made and cups too small, so kept having to get up for refill."

"This is an older property, the third floor bedrooms were chilly and generated a lot of condensation which was uncomfortable to sleep in. Generally the rooms just need updating but the communal areas are well looked after and much warmer. "

"1.My Son has a spectrum, meaning that he is very specific with what He eats. I normally carry food from home where ever I go. When I approached Staff to ask if I could use Microwave, they were more than helpful. The chef was incredible. That made our stay stress free. 2. The swimming pool was the only reason why I booked that hotel. My children likes to swim. To my suprise. The water was extremely cold. We could not swim at all that day.
