It's also just a quarter of a mile from a bus-stop to Newport in one direction and Yarmouth in the other (if you don't have a car) so therefore ideal...

"We were very lucky with the weather which helps but we love the area as there is always something to do. The cottage was spotless and has all amenities (apart from washing machine no space ) and there was a very nice cake awaiting us as well as tea ,coffee and milk . Parking was fine on quiet street and the garden is a delight. The owner kindly reminded us about the steep stairs but we managed as we did with downstairs bathroom. Overall highly recommended for a relaxing stay in New Forest."

"We can look back at a nice and comfortable stay at the Tack Room. Nicely situated in the New Forest: just cross the street and stroll around in a beautiful landscape (don’t forget to bring your wellies). A very clean, warm and quiet place. Complete kitchen, but with limited storage space for a family of seven. Comfortable beds, but a bit too short for my length.wifi is fast (Starlink) and reliable."

Pictures on site are accurate, we asked for the twin beds to be fixed together to create a larger space, such luxury! Loved the feather duvet… The hosts were very welcoming and made suggestions for walks, trips and restaurants. A joy to stay in the fold yard and see the ponies in the paddocks. "What an incredible week we had at Brockhurst Cottage number 3. Cooking on the Aga, watching the snow falling outside, wine in front of the fire and walks in the country was just what we needed for some R & R. The cottage is well appointed with everything a family needs and has all the quirks of a quintessential English cottage. Stairs may be a bit tricky for the younger and older guests and if you're into modern then maybe not the place for you! We loved it. Clean towels and bedding, Laundry,...
