"Hotel was good, but a little tired, our only criticism was that our room never had a visit from house keeping on a daily basis, apparently you have to request it, unfortunately no one told us this. We would like to mention the receptionist, TRACEY who sorted a couple of problems we had efficiently and promptly, very pleasant throughout our stay "

"The hotel was a joy to stay at. The staff are fabulous and Nicole at breakfast was so lovely. The food was really good and would recommend the Argento rose as a perfect end to the day. The bar staff would look after an open bottle for us in the fridge. The rooms were so comfortable and the bathroom was perfect and clean. I am definitely coming back on my next visit to Dartmoor. Thank you to all the staff for creating a welcoming hotel."

"Lovely place, perfect for us. Clean and comfortable. Definitely will stay again. Was worried about parking but no need as about 5-6 big parking places round the back. 2 mins to shops in Mutley and about 10-15 min walk in to Plymouth. "

"I've stayed at Foxhouse Studios several times. The rooms are comfortable and warm and modern. The staff are nice. It's very central."

"Great hotel and lovely stay. It is on an estuary along a narrow lane (single track in parts) and nearest town/shops a good 30 minute walk with some extremely steep parts to climb, so not for the less able in my opinion. However, a great spot to visit other pretty places if you dont mind relying on your car daily. "

"The location was excellent for exploring S West Devon, either by car or by the very convenient public transport. While some areas of the hotel were in need of some TLC it was obvious that the owners were carrying out plans of refurbishment!"
