"My family and I live all across the UK so we rent a property for gatherings 2-3 times per year. Molly's Haven is undoubtedly the cleanest (immaculate doesn’t even cover it), comfiest, most well-stocked and beautiful property yet (and we’ve stayed in tons). Di and Robin and such warm and accommodating hosts and Molly’s Haven is a beautifully finished conversion, extremely tastefully done from the modern heating to three showers to the fancy electronic blinds in the master bedroom. They’ve thought of absolutely everything, including plenty of towels and hangers in the bedrooms, and having a kitchen so well-stocked with equipment and crockery it put our own to shame. You’ll want for absolutely nothing here, especially with the like-new range cooker and appliances. We absolutely loved the homemade cream tea that was put on for us (I think it lasted approx. 10 mins with the ultimate speed 6 of us devoured it!), the cuddly toys on the bookcase for my little niece and the beautifully planted front garden to sit out in. Sadly there was an issue in the local area that impacted the water supply (nothing to do with Barnfield) but Di and Robin went above and beyond with their consideration, kindness, and making sure our stay was barely impacted which I mention just to demonstrate what fantastic hosts they are. "Our stay and checkin process was fine. When we left my son accidentally took a charger out of the power strip that was not ours (he was 12) and we headed to the airport back to the US. We were 3 hours into our trip east to heathrow and the manager called demanding that we stole the security system...she was taking info from the cleaning team and we finally figured out that it was the power block that a blink camera was plugged into. I offered to ship a new power block but we were leaving for the US and couldn't turn around for a 7 pound item..it was an honest mistake that we would gladly send a new one or money. The manager then started texting that we stole a thermostat off the wall and all these other things. We did not such thing and when I pushed back and kept calling she stopped answering and I never heard back. If you look at the fine print on this booking they charge a 100 pound refundable deposit which we then never got back and it was almost like they accused you of all that to keep the money. The inside was nice and pretty clean but the outside yard was so overgrown and unkept."
