"The hotel was very clean and comfortable the door codes are a good idea but can be a bit tricky when you are loaded down with luggage. It is the first hotel we have stayed at with no reception or any evidence of someone being there in case of emergency but it seems to work ok. DIY breakfast was also new to us but once we had found the kitchen which was spotless everything fell into place. "Never again! When I arrived they had no record of my booking, even though I showed them the booking confirmation. After almost an hour they agreed to give me a room. When we were in the room it was freezing, it was -2 in the room, we tried the heating but it didn’t work. Asked reception to move us but they said they didn’t have any other rooms made up. We left at 6am because we couldn’t stand the cold."

"Staed one night. Greeted at reception by a lovely lady. Very informative and friendly. Room 14 was a bit dated and tired. Bed not that comfortable but huge ! Pillows ok but one too little and 2 too much. Did not sleep well. Could hear every noise from people next door. Paintwork throughout hotel could do with a refresh. Carpets very worn in places. Service and food in restaurant was very good even though they were busy."

"The electric fire in my caravan did not work. The carpets although clean on the surface could do with a deep clean to revive the pile. I reported this to reception. Overhead low flying aircraft every day were very noisy, I know this can't be helped with an RAF base right next door. Otherwise my stay was fine."
