"I stayed here recently on a short break in Lincoln. It’s well located in a quiet area very near the castle. The staff were absolutely lovely - friendly and helpful. Stokes cafe and a great tapas restaurant are just across the courtyard and there’s a large pay and display car park behind the hotel if you drive. The hotel is very attractive and is gradually getting investment. My room was one that has already been renovated and was of a great standard. My only criticism would be that the mattress...

"A last minute overnighter and this place is a great bolthole for visiting wonderful Lincoln. Attic bedroom clean comfortable with v nice bathroom en-suite. Above what looks like a great restaurant and minutes away from the cathedral and castle. I will be back"

The drive isn’t big enough for any car larger than a Mini, but there’s ample space for parking on the curb. The only real downside was the amount of bugs within the property. Any corner that was looked at held spiders of considerable size. I don’t recommend this place to anyone who’s as sensitive to those things as I am. We sat on the back porch the first night...
