"Ibis is a great budget hotel at a great location in Brussels. It was right next to the train station which made getting to and from there easy both from the airport, and traveling by domestic or international train. The rooms were quite small and the area outside was sometimes noisy if you left the window open, but it was cheap, clean and within walking distance of everything we needed in brussels. The staff was very helpful and helped us extend out stay easily."

I was originally put off by the overall rating but I’m very glad I read the negative reviews and booked anyway. In my experience (on check-in and check-out) the staff were friendly and professional. If you are looking for an airport shuttle then this hotel doesn’t provide that (as far as I’m aware). There is public transport The room I stayed in was very clean, the bed was really comfy...

"The second evening there was no hot water until the morning, so it was not possible to take the shower! Temperature regulation in the room was not working, since it was -5 oC outside the room was rather cold. The rest was OK, personel is freindly."
