"A lovely one night stay at The Windermere Hotel. Really nice staff and a lovely bed to rest your head after a day out in Bowness for drinks and a meal. Very decent breakfast too. Hotel might need a little ‘love’ but I’d definitely stay there again "

"Excellent Period property. As an older building we were unsure what to expect but it’s immaculate throughout. Staff were incredibly friendly and we were delighted to be checked in 3 hours prior to the arranged time. Couldn’t be more conveniently located a minute walk from the castle and the Main Street where all the shops, bars and restaurants are.
