"Stayed here a few times. It's an affordable, dog-friendly hotel in a fairly quiet area. Bed was comfy, room was clean. Staff are helpful, and the lift was working this time. The only minor annoyances about the room were that it was a tiny bit cold even with the lukewarm radiator fully on; and one of the old spotlight bulbs wasn't working so it was a bit dark (seems like a no-brainer to put LEDs in, unless people nick them or something). "So pleased to get a runway view room which was fascinating as even late at night, there were people servicing the planes. Good choice of food and wine in the bar and the breakfast was just right for an early start. It was a short walk from the car park and then on to the terminal. "

"We had a good experience at this hotel. Wonderful location right next to the Curve auditorium and the Athena centre. Didn't want to go far from the hotel so we had a good meal in the restaurant. Nice touch was that the chef came out and asked if we had enjoyed our meal - which we confirmed we had. The front of house staff were very polite and helpful with any questions we had. "We needed a dog friendly place to stay with disabled access for a couple of nights. We managed to get a good discount when booking. The best bit was a cafe offering food in the evenings and booked breakfast which was included in the price too. Very clean and good sized room. Fully accessible bathroom with plenty of room. Lovely friendly staff. We were so pleasantly surprised with this place and will definitely return. "
