"The balcony door could not lock. The bathroom is dated. The tiny desk had no light. The location is directly across from some mosque or Islamic center. Those ‘prayers’ on megaphone (outdoor speakers?) started at 4 am. Could not sleep well! Otherwise the staff is amazing!"

"Great peaceful compound, but I was lucky to get in - having booked and paid for a nonrefundable room on Expedia the day before, on arrival they didn't know anything about it and said they were sold out. After about an hour they resolved it. My double room small cottage was rustic but very clean - no bugs or anything similar. Pool was great - there was a sign requesting 250 to use it but I was never asked to pay. Bar area relaxing, and the cabanas and sunbeds around it are plentiful and...

"It was first time to stay at Jacarandas. We chose it to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary, and we were very pleased. It came highly recommended by friends that have oftentimes stayed here. Staff was excellent, professional, and always helpful. We will continue to recommend and return ourselves. "

"Boxo might be more suitable for travellers who are looking for very basic place for stay. Keep in mind that it is literally a sea container turned into a tiny room. One thing I was very upset during the breakfast is that only 1 cup of coffee is included (which unfortunately tasted quite flat). In the main restaurant served food way so-so. Quite didn’t enjoyed a food there. However, staff is very friendly and nice. "

"This place is listed as Gloria Beach Lodge but it does not exist at the given address on the confirmation email. The phone number is a Ukrainian one. To contact this number after many attempts was futile. A message was sent via a local number and a local who contacted me 6 days later .In the meantime my family and I had to find alternative accommodation for those 6 days. Unfortunately I had a second booking of 2weeks with same lodge which ended up being a hotel called Tradewinds which is...

"I was the only guest in the hotel, which was apparently under some renovation. Terrible service with literally everything not functioning (water, electricity, safe, kitchen) and limited staff. Monkeys kept sneaking into my room (by actually opening the windows themselves) and messing my stuff despite complaining about the same to management. The hotel should not have been listed as available to guests! "

"The term Luxury cottage is an insult. The pictures are very misleading.This place is so run down. The staff you can tell is trying hard but obviously the owner cares nothing about customer service or being honest. Our "Luxury cottage" had no microwave, no satellite TV and the kitchen and living room were exposed to heat as there are no windows only loose screening that let lots of bugs in. The couch and beds sit on concrete reminiscent of city jail. I realize this property is in the tropics but...
