"The hotel is just as pictured - gorgeous views from everywhere on the property. The staff were lovely - friendly, always wanting to help, etc. The room was very comfortable and close to everything. As we were both somewhat unwell when we arrived, we would have liked a few more basic options on the dinner menu as our appetites were not there and it was difficult to find simple food that we felt we could handle. Otherwise a perfect stay!"

"I feel I was misled by the photos. We were in a different building than what I thought from the main photos. The building is in need of repairs. We experienced, wifi outage - including a message when we tried to connect that the account was suspended for non payment. We were without water for an afternoon, the ac in the bedroom was not working. "Staff was very friendly and gracious, went out of their way to help with anything. Great breakfast buffet with plenty of variety and offerings. Nice private beach area, but cushions on lounge chairs were not secured and kept sliding down the chairs when chair backs were inclined. Sea Breeze rooms were spacious though mattress was hard and pillows fairly flimsy. "

"Boxo might be more suitable for travellers who are looking for very basic place for stay. Keep in mind that it is literally a sea container turned into a tiny room. One thing I was very upset during the breakfast is that only 1 cup of coffee is included (which unfortunately tasted quite flat). In the main restaurant served food way so-so. Quite didn’t enjoyed a food there. However, staff is very friendly and nice. "

"Great, budget-friendly, and beautiful resort with direct beach access and security guards. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe there. The meat choices at the buffet were limited, but I noticed this everywhere in Kenya. Overall, my stay was very pleasant and amazing! The resort has stunning landscaping and unbeatable prices, and I would definitely stay there again."
