"The Hogs Head Inn was a great place to stay to explore Northumberland, with convenient bus and train connections to the beach and historic sites. "This is a newbuild property at the back of town but that said it's a big site, plenty of parking, big rooms and plenty of space. The rooms are in a fantastic condition and the staff were extremely friendly. We ate both evening meal and breakfast there and the food was good and reasonably priced. "A picturesque inn, in a beautiful area. Staff made us feel welcomed the moment we stepped through the door. Throughout our stay, everyone was so helpful and friendly. Clean and tidy room with spacious bathroom. Meals were excellent. Chefs are first class and every meal cooked to perfection. Quality food. A hearty breakfast provided a great start to our days. Even the dog got a sausage. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and will definitely be back. Thank you to everyone at the Bay Horse Inn. "
