"Fantastic stay!"

"Such a nice place to stay, we’ll definitely be back. The staff were so friendly, the food was great, and the room was lovely. It’s hard to ask for more from a hotel. The parking area was small but we had no problem getting a space. It doesn’t have EV chargers but there are 4 by the beach which is a 2 minute walk away. Our dog was so welcome there in the room and the dining room, he loved it too. My only tiny criticism is it’s not clear on this app which rooms are dog friendly and we had to do a last minute upgrade, so do speak to them before you get there. All in all, we loved it and can’t wait to go again!"

"We had an amazing anniversary stay at this beautiful, charming hotel. We were greeted by welcoming, friendly staff upon arrival, and check in was quick and easy. Our room was immaculate and impressively decorated. The bed was very comfortable, but the stand out feature was the tin bath - a real showstopper. I would highly recommend this hotel for a romantic night away."

"We stayed for 1 night en-route from Yorkshire to the Scottish Highlands, and we were absolutely gutted..... because we wished we had booked for longer! We had room 101 and it was simply beautiful. I actually cant fault a thing. We will definitely be back.... but for longer next time :)"

"Delightful quirky accommodation; staff very friendly, lounge very homely with lovely log burner and plenty of glasses to enjoy your own drinks, snacks or takeaway food etc. Large communal tables which gives lots of opportunity to meet and socialise with other guests. Although our room wasn’t large it had everything we needed and was full of character. Alnwick has lots to see and do and lovely restaurants."

"A beautiful hotel with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Our room (the Bamburgh) was large, bright and very comfortable. There’s a great choice for breakfast and for dinner (with my gluten intolerance catered for brilliantly). The hotel is literally opposite the castle with stunning walks on the doorstep. "

"The welcome was was warm and the room large and clean. We had dinner in the restaurant the first night and it was delicious with impeccable service. We had breakfast on two mornings, again food was very good. Two small criticisms from our stay was that the bed/mattress was very firm but this is about personal taste so may be fine for others! We spoke to reception and while they couldn’t offer a different room they did provide a mattress topper which resolved the issue and we were happy with that. The second criticism was that after we drank the water on the first night, it wasn’t replaced by housekeeping which i would have expected. Would definitely stay again though we had a lovely time "
