"We were pleasantly surprised. We normally stay at best western but it was sold out. I’m glad because this is our new Keene hotel. Last couple times at best western was not very good. A lot of people smoking pot and the whole hotel was disgusting. Front desk people here very personable. Enjoyed our stay."

"It was not clear online which property you were booking. There’s the hotel, the castle and the condos. I didn’t realize it was all the same resort. Also if you book the hotel part you have to pay $15 per person to use the pool. Per day! Also hoped it would have a continental breakfast. Overall staff was very friendly and the price was reasonable."

"Amazing! Cannot get a better location! So close to everything! Quick walk to village shops and slopes. Very clean. Lots more room than I was expecting for two big 17 year old boys and parents. Kids had their own bedroom, bathroom and storage area on main floor, adult had master suite with own bathroom upstairs. Plenty of room in kitchen and family room. The only complaint is that hotels hot tubs and pool were over run with too many little kids. "

"It was our first time in the castle itself, usually we stay in the lower hotel but the rates were comparable to the least expensive so I booked one night in the “castle”. The only complaint we really had was the heater in the room was controlled from a thermostat that was down the hall and was for the entire building so our room was either cold or way too hot even with the windows open in late April. "I decided to stay a bit out of town for a ski trip....and it was perfect. Just a 10 min ride down the hill to OKEMO and LUDLOW. It is absolutely beautiful and quiet...the sunsets and sunrises are amazing from the top of that hill. It is secluded and you really get a slice of VT. The unit is very large and spacious. It has everything you need for a short stay...for some, not having a microwave is an issue, but not for me. Toaster over, full stove, fridge, electric water kettle, coffee maker,...
