"Great hotel for a great price. One of the few hotels I’ve stayed in where the pictures do not do it justice, the view from our mountain suite was amazing. The room was clean, spacious, and secure. The room doesn’t have A/C which threw us off at first but this is typical for the area as the cool mountain wind was more than enough for a comfortable stay with the windows cracked. "We loved our stay at Calathea Lodge. They helped us book awesome tours with excellent guides at prices that saved us a bit of money and a lot of time! We also really liked the location. The lodge had a deck with a great overlook and was walking distance to downtown. We took that walk and really enjoyed a great afternoon right after arriving. "Beautiful property near the Cloud Forest Reserve. It feels secluded but it’s close to everything. Check-in was super easy and the staff was very friendly. The 3 bedroom cabin was cozy and lovely especially the outdoor seating area. Would definitely stay again!"
