"Overall it's ok. When it comes to the room conditions, it's clean but outdated. No safe deposit box, No slippers or bathrobe, the heater/air conditioning unit is noisy."

I personally prefer to stay in a small, cozy hotel like King George rather than a large hotel that feels impersonal and corporate. The hotel is in a very convenient location with many nice restaurants nearby. I was there for a conference and felt lucky that I stayed at King George instead of the conference hotel. Overall, my stay went above and beyond my expectations especially considering the affordable rates. "

"The property by itself was ok, but there were so many homeless and drug addicts on the street that it was scary. I will never visit that city ever again unless the municipality cleans up their act."

"Downtown San Fran. Not in the hotel district, although the Marriott across the street is a great property. Close the Moscone center. Old building, small rooms, but classic no frills hotel. Recommend getting a room with a private bath."

"Overall the hotel was very clean. You needed a room key to use the bathrooms down by the breakfast area I assume to keep people from off the street using them but they could have used a little more attention. The bar area was nice but under staffed. Lots of people gathered there with take out food. Shower was great but our toilet didn't flush all the time. "
