"Hotel is situated in lovely grounds and looks very impressive on the drive up. Room felt like it could do with a bit of updating but was clean enough and comfortable. Bar area and restaurant were also excellent with friendly staff. Wouls stay again"

"Lovely clean rooms and easy check in/out. We got the conjoined rooms we requested on booking without any issue. I hadn’t realised there’s a daily charge for the car park, but it’s capped so not too expensive. Note there are no plug sockets on the side of the room by the beds, so unless you have a really long charging cable, you won’t be able to reach your phone! It was unfortunate the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night during our stay and communication from hotel staff at the time...

"We love this hotel. Friendly staff, great location, bar and restaurant excellent. The basic rooms are a bit small but the deluxe are really good. This time we stayed in the suite. The room never got very warm and the decor is tired. Please consider giving your main room a face-lift! "

"It was over Christmas time we stayed 23rd to 27th some noises and bumps late at night. The Staff were very helpful at all times. The kitchen had its problems but the staff held its side up well done. "
