"Absolutely loved our trip for valentines weekend, the place was lovely and staff super helpful and friendly. Room was clean, our only gripe that while the bed was comfy, the base of the bed had seen better days and was incredibly squeaky with the slightest movement. Not good for a valentines getaway, but rheres always got to be something. Informed the staff and they said they'd ask the cleaner to check it out. I would highly recommend Lamb and Flag for a stay, and at the time of this review....

"A quiet place to stay close to the town for evening meal. Easy parking , follow the brown signs, easy to find then."

"Horrendous, most things broken or not working Why can't I post pictures of this? I need a full or partial refund, shower wasn't working, dirty,broken tiles paint and dirt on the bathroom door,paperthin walls which resulted in listening to our 'neighbours ' nocturnal activities, arguing, slamming doors "

"The room was surprisingly large and clean. It was a bank holiday so the pub was extremely busy and very loud. Once the pub closes it was quiet"

"Lovely guesthouse with beautiful views and friendly staff. We had a great stay in a very comfortable, modernly decorated room. The house was old and traditional with lots of original character but updated to give a cosy, warm homely feel. We will definitely be back!!! "

"We had a delightful stay with our dog at The Tiger. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ate in the hotel- we thoroughly recommend Chicken& Leek Pie. Lovely beer/lager.Our only niggle would be the rooms are all on the top floor- a few stairs to negotiate. We would stay again."

"Quite remote. Staff gave us free left over curry which was very nice. Beverage options are vast. About a 30 minute drive from pen y fan. Only had WiFi in the main rooms though. No signal or WiFi in the room we were in. We only stayed for one night so it didn’t matter for us. cheap and cheerful. "

"The hosts were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent very tasty, beds were so comfortable didn’t want to get up and the whole property was spotlessly clean. A really pleasurable stay. I must give a mention to William who was so knowledgeable for such a young little chap also very helpful. Thanks for a great stay.🫛👍❤️"
