"I loved the attention to detail. We stay in a decent number of inns, B&Bs and hotels - most of which are excellent. This is the only one with decent tea AND agave. Some other distinguishing features: bidet, lots of snacks & refreshments, baked goods for breakfast already in room, adjustable-light mirror and embossed toilet paper. I loved that the rooms were not colonial decor with flowered bedding and traditional furniture - so common in this area. Very clean with the guest in mind!"

This is NOT a shiny new hotel, with all the conveniences. You can forget your free “make-your-own hot breakfast” deal. This chef-curated breakfast was fresh, carefully crafted, and delicious! The eggs were light, fluffy and flavorful. The bacon was thick and cooked perfectly. And OMG, the homemade Belgian waffles were literally covered...

"The young couple who own the Harvest Barn Inn are wonderful. The breakfasts were well thought out and excellent. Coffee and cookies were available in the afternoon and the cookies were delicious. The inn is located on a quiet road close to the VT Country Store and downtown Bellows Falls is unique and inviting. Beautiful views. Can’t say enough good things about this inn. "

"I didn't realize it was a bed & breakfast when I reserved our room (my mistake), but it was fine. I'm handicapped and had to go up steps in the old home with my luggage (obviously, no elevator). While the room was small and a bit cramped for us, it was nice, quiet, and the beds were comfortable. Again, this is not a knock on the property. It was very quaint. Just my mistake for not realizing exactly what I was booking."

Mike and Julie are spectacularly thoughtful hosts. We felt welcomed, cared for, and a little bit spoiled :) during our three day stay. Will absolutely stay here again on our next visit to VT! "

"We had a pleasant stay at the condo in the mountains. The main problem we found from the post is there is not a set of twin bunkbeds so the post may need to be updated. Also the facilities were wonderful and it may be helpful to provide easy directions to the guests to locate the facilities."
