"We had a lovely time at the Arched Chalet for my family's annual vacation in Vermont. It was very comfortable, well-appointed, and in a great location. Even in the summer heat we did not need the AC - it was so comfortable with the fans and the lower level is naturally cool. Great location near Camp Plymouth (we went to the lake twice), and restaurants/shops in Ludlow and Woodstock."

We enjoy making family style meals in the big open kitchen. Plenty of space for all of us to lounge around. We always make sure to use the hot tub while we're there. They did some nice updates since we were there last year. The new shower head in the downstairs bathroom is great! We'll be making this an annual family...

"The home was well appointed with all the amenities and plenty of room for our three families (6 adults and 6 kids). The game room downstairs and open concept living room were awesome and would have been used more often had the weather not been so perfect. The property is truly the star of this place, picturesque mountain views and an amazing fire pit. We will definitely be renting again."

"Our biggest issue is that the listing says 3 bedrooms, 1 with a queen, 1 with twin bunks, and 1 with a queen and 2 twins. But it’s actually a full with 2 twins—a bouncy, mushy full. The twins in that room are paper thin mattresses on boards and they felt a bit like 2x4’s, so I’d only recommend them for kids, even though they were roomy twins. This presented a major issue in our vacation. We surprised my older parents by inviting them for part of it and were happy to give them the queen. This...

"A relaxing weekend with family. Perfect place for two couples or a small family. Close to mountains, restaurants and shopping. We over packed bringing more pans and cooking equipment since many rentals are not as equipped. Owner communicated well. Had a much needed and relaxing long weekend. It snowed and the driveway and roads were cleared nicely, so we were able to travel when and where we wanted."

"The property and house are truly beautiful. Great for a family stay. Fall foliage views are beautiful. The owner responded to all of my messages in a timely fashion. Located only two minutes away from Bromley which was great. There was a ceiling leak in the hallway while we were there but it wasn't bad. It was just the two of staying for one night and I do feel that charging the full cleaning fee for the one night for just the two of us was a bit high/overpriced. It would be nice if it could...

"We enjoyed our stay during the holiday week. The fenced in yard for our pups was definitely a plus and hard to find in a rental. Just a note of caution regarding the stairs in the home. They are very steep, and we had an elderly family member with us. Luckily there is a first-floor bedroom and bathroom, so all worked out fine. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had. Is a lovely spot and would recommend it to others. "
