"We came down from Tignes late afternoon after a full days skiing. We had decided to get part of the journey back to Geneva done for an early flight . The hotel is clean, rooms absolutely fine , good breakfast and we were only 1 hr 20 mins from Geneva . So much more relaxing than being up at 5am from Tignes . I am going to do this for all my future ski holidays . Book one less night in resort …"

"Excellent location! Chair lift just across the road. In the heart of the beautiful town of Val Claret. Staff were also excellent especially Marion, who accommodated all our requests. On the negative side, the hotel is very old and dated. The breakfast and dinner was average. Would still highly recommend staying here. "

"Cozy hotel in the small town of Landry. Close to the slopes but you'll need to take the shuttle or train to Paisey or Bourg St Maurice. Very good restaurant downstairs so you don't have to leave for dinner after a long ski day. The foie gras was fantastic. The only thing keeping it from being 5 stars is no one is there to help you with the bags if you decided to try and travel without a car. "

"12/30/24- HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY. We had to catch a train at 5:55 AM. Cit'Hôtel le Welcome was the perfect place for it. Really less than 5 minute walk to the train station, therefore easy access to both the train and the Altibus to the ski stations of the Savoie! We did not spend much time there to enjoy the area, and the proprietor seemed very nice. We were in and out very fast. Quiet area, clean room with the necessary essentials. With a great imagination my daughter said the hotel...

"Good place to stay in VD very very central . The luggage to the room tjing is little hassel but staff is always willing to help. overal staf and place is excellent , really cant go wrong. Very central to bara and shopping , like you are in it. "

"If you don’t have a car, it is very difficult to get around as taxis and uber are limited in the area. We had multiple taxi drivers say yes and cancel. Rooms are dated and weird smell coming from the carpet. With limited transportation, we chose to eat at the hotel restaurant which was not good. We booked through Expedia and chose a pay at hotel option - and had picked to include breakfast and access to the spa. The hotel denied that we had chosen that option. Expedia said they couldn’t do...

"Fantastic location for skiing! Locker rooms on slope meters from chair lifts. Good choice of food for breakfast with amazimg views of mountains and bottom of pistes. Large bar area with big screen. Hotel is tired but very comfortable and in similar condition to other ski hotels i have used. Arrived late into resort and bo restaurants were open but duty manager went and found food for us which was very much appreciated!!"

"The hotel itself is fine and the staff are excellent. But to describe the hotel as "ski-in/ski-out" is wholly misleading. The exit/entrance involved a dangerous traverse across about 100m of sheet ice. The hotel itself recommended against using the route, instead suggesting using the free shuttle. That runs about every 90 minutes, so is basically useless. So don't stay here if you don't want to have to drive to the resort each day. Also, don't make the mistake of buying the full Paradiski...

"Nice hotel in a good location. We were B&B, breakfast had a good selection, however food was warm, not hot and baked beans were stone cold most mornings. As we were B&B we decided we would pay and try dinner one night. We were glad that we hadn’t selected this option. Again the food was warm at best and variably not worth the €35 pp we had to pay for the experience. In summary, nice hotel, service and staff were good, food needs improving. "

"Great place to stay for a weekend of skiing "

"We went as a family of 3. 2 girls preteen age. The location is absolutely perfect and the staff simply the best. Breakfast was included in our reservation but i must say that cutlery wasnt properly washed and if you were not in the first 1 hour from opening you could hardly find any plates to serve yourself. Finally i believe its overpriced for what it offers, like every other hotel in the area though."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Le Diva. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The buffet food for breakfast and dinner was good quality and plentiful, with lots of variety. In particular the New years eve meal was excellent. The room was quite small, but there is a large bar area where we could relax and play games. After our day on the slopes (very close - ski in ski out) we would use the sauna or hammam and then enjoy playing pool in the bar before dinner. Thank you for an great stay. We intend to return next season!"
