"Charming old Hotel but requires some maintenance. Our room was clean , bed comfy and staff were excellent. Very basic menu . Newquay has gone down hill terribly over the years but the natural beauty of the coastline remains breathtaking. We had a fantastic sea view from our room which balanced out the disrepair . "

"I stayed in their Compact room. Perfectly fine for a solo traveller who is out and about. The staff were amazingly friendly, open, talkative and helpful. Especially Mitchie and Restaurant manager. Who I spent time chatting with during my few nights stay. It’s clear the hotel has had a large chunk of ££££ spent on its interiors, but a few small things are noticeably absent that would allocate. For example, bedroom doors and fire doors do not have closure controls on them, so they bang...

Bedroom spacious and lovely to have own separate toilet and shower. We only had breakfast once which was delicious and good value for money. Staff friendly and welcoming.
