"Stayed many times here but not recently until yesterday. The previous owners did not run the hotel well. However it is back to being run by good effective and friendly staff, breakfast is back on too. I will be back."

"Apart from the shower water not being over hot , everything was 5 star. The shower was not cold but I do like it really hot. That was the only criticism I had . The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again "

"This is a very old pub so to be expected that floors are somewhat uneven, took a bit of time to get used to this. Room was at front of building,had a large, comfortable bed and nice clean bathroom. Sadly our stay was spoilt by other guests on Saturday night making lots of noise till the early hours. Breakfast was excellent with good choices, particularly catering for gluten free diet. Staff were always pleasant and helpful. "
