"Beautiful relaxed vibe, cool location. Not a resort, but better I think. Loved the restaurant right on the beach where you can dine with your toes in the sand. Beach has a fair amount of shade from pine trees. Nice location close to a walking/biking trail and a touristy shopping plaza. Also not very far from a ton of other restaurants and shops just up the road. The Wailua river is extremely close. The only one thing I did not like was that the room looked right onto the pool on the ground floor...

"Didn’t like I couldn’t get in until 4:00 pm and didn’t tell me I had to pay $25.00 until leaving when I could have park on the other side of lot. Other then that all good."

"Service was excellent and speedy. Rooms were spotless. Any concern was addressed and everything done to make it a great experience. Lots of very nice walking paths, beach nearby but not on property. Pool was shallow, decor generic and couch uncomfortable. Great price for 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. We were very pleased and would definitely recommend staying there. "

"Beautiful setting. Grounds were pristine. Pool inviting. Great location. Quiet and only the sound of the waves. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast foods to go were well stocked. Coffee pot, and coffee in room very good."

"Great place to stay for the price and they actually gave us an upgraded room to accommodate that I’m handicapped. The room was so full of extras that was really surprising. Lots of extra towels, tissues, TP, and paper towels. There were lots of plates, pans, silverware, and even BBQ tools. They also included beach toys for kids and snorkeling equipment in the balcony closet. Oh and there was 2 balconies in our condo and each bedroom had its own full bathroom!"

"We had a 1 bedroom unit for 4 persons and rollaway beds were not available.They offered a futon instead which was very uncomfortable. The property was well maintained and an excellent location."

"This property is situated right next to Wailua State Park and across from Wailua Beach and minutes from Lydgate Beach Park. Immaculate and well- maintained. It was noisier than I expected due to traffic and bridge construction but very cute garden where you can sit outside"

"Whalers Cove Oceanfront Resort is top notch! "The property was as described on the beautiful! We could easily walk to both pool areas, Shipwreck beach and Poipu beach. The only things to be aware of is that there is no A/C in the main living areas, only the bedrooms. It was fine except when you went out for the day and came back to only the fans running. Also, there is not a queen size pullout couch as indicated in the pictures. It is a queen blow up mattress. Againqueen size pullout "

"We were very happy with our week long stay here. We were in a second floor unit, (225) and it was great to look out over the pool with the ocean just beyond. It was super quiet even with having lots of other families in neighboring units. We also loved having direct access to the beach any time we wanted to swim and having the local shops just a block away was a great bonus. We are looking forward to coming back in the near future and i would recomend this place to anyone looking for a great...
