"I had a lovely stay at Casa da Cisaltina. Fatima, the owner, made me feel right at home and was very helpful with information about things to do in the area and suggestions! The breakfast was delicious and included her homemade jams. There is a wonderful view out the backyard of the northside of the caldera. Added bonus is the parking on site - a car is definitely necessary in the Povocao area and eastern side of the island. "

"Place was just as pictured. Clean. Ideal location. Comfiest beds we had in our 5 week vacation. Staff had limited English, but decent French (and significantly better than my Portuguese), so overall no difficulties communicating with them. They were very responsive on WhatsApp and willing to help with booking excusions, willing to provide information. Very happy with our stay (except for the weather, but can’t control when storms decide to pass by). "

"What a GREAT surprise. No regular Motel experience here. Like staying in your Grandma's House. Everyone staying has a place set for Breakfast. Great Conversation and trip discusions. "I enjoyed the feeling of having my own pad in Nordeste! The parking was super easy with quick access to the home. It was a bit chilly to use the pool but coming home to them every day was a nice experience. The interior of the home was functional and modern while upholding the charm of a Nordeste home.
