"This is a very good hotel in almost all of the important areas, from my personal perspective. Staff are delightful and very accommodating. Swimming pool is gorgeous and very well maintained. Room was super clean and the bed very comfy. They have a well-known high end restaurant on site, where I would have eaten at least once had they had even one vegan item on the menu. "Dang Derm is right in the middle of Khaosan Road so if you want to be slap bang in the thick of the thumping nightlife then it’s ideal. The blaring music is audible from your hotel room and goes on until 4am so be prepared for that. But if chaotic, fascinating, loud and relentless is your thing then it’s the place to stay. "The staff made this a memorable vacation. They were always there to help with any questions. They recommended tours, sights to see, transportation to sights. A central location for tour stars and end points. The China Town food tour start point was only a 9 minute walk. Rooms and facility were clean, a nice restaurant/bar on the 6th floor and nice relaxing pool. I highly recommend the Cascade Hotel."

"Hotel is well situated for restaurants. Our room was comfortable but few amenities. A kettle but no cups, or coffee/tea. No soap to use in the sink just shower gel on the wall in the shower. Breakfast was not as described on their website. Poor quality Thai food for breakfast & the only other choice was white sliced bread to toast. Shame"

"We’ve stayed here before and we had the same experience this time, this is a wonderful hotel to stay at in Bangkok. The area is really nice, it’s relatively quiet but there are still plenty of food and drink options, it’s walking distance to khao San road for livelier bars as well. The free breakfast buffet is really nice and the welcome drink is a lovely touch. You can go to the rooftop bar next door for sunset as well which is beautiful. We used the pool this time and found it really relaxing....
