"In many ways this is just another high quality Bangkok hotel with a cool rooftop bar. But three things make it stand out in a crowded market. First, the stunning views over the Chao Praya river. "The shower has a rather odd system to open and have hot water, it took us 2 days to realize! But all we needed to do is ask the friendly staff, they are always happy to help! I also had an issue with the key and they assisted me even if it was off hours. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"The staff made this a memorable vacation. They were always there to help with any questions. They recommended tours, sights to see, transportation to sights. A central location for tour stars and end points. The China Town food tour start point was only a 9 minute walk. Rooms and facility were clean, a nice restaurant/bar on the 6th floor and nice relaxing pool. I highly recommend the Cascade Hotel."

"Clean and nice hostel, family room we stayed is kind of warm but lucky there is a fan at the walkway we used it to cool down our room. This hostel do not allowed food and drinks in the room (whereby no Bin provided in the room), it is kind of inconvenient to go down to the rest room to throw rubbish. Mixed rest room do not have shelving to put your stuff, it only have few hooks to hang your items in the shower room (a bit inconvenient). Except the individual rest room (such as Men or Women)...

"A pleasant stay for one night in the old canal side house. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and the room was interesting with old toys and artefacts. The rooms are at the other side of the canal to the owners house where you eat breakfast. It’s good if you like the canal life and you have many tourist long tail boats passing during the day. Had a large patio and help from the hosts in arranging a taxi."
