"The two most important things were that the bed was excellent and we were able to find a room in Mt. Shasta that didn't previously have pets in it. I had to call five hotels just to find a pet free room. The shower was less than stellar and I didn't use it. The front desk closes at 8:00 so we never saw a live person coming or leaving. "

"The refurbished building has been well updated. The room was very comfortable and all systems were updated and working well. It was quiet (mostly) with the exception of the trains, which thankfully did not run that frequently. All in all a very nice facility. It is essentially a contactless facility with electronic entry etc. I would stay here again. Dunsmuir is a very agreeable town."

"The room was very clean, small but practical, a good value. There is an amazingly efficient, quiet wall heater. Where it's lagging is poor wi-fi service which was weak and would drop out. Some freeway noise, but not enough to keep me awake. The window blinds do not totally black out the light, but it was good enough for me. The grounds were spacious and gave a country-like atmosphere. All considered, I would stay here again."

"The owner of the property is very organized and highly motivated to make this a delightful stay. Our room , The Vineyard, was well-appointed with a lovely large bathroom. The room itself is a bit cramped for two travelers and their luggage. When we got out of our car the air in Redding was acidic and smoky. I mentioned to Denise that we would have appreciated knowing in advance that breathing would be unpleasant and difficult as I suffer from severe headaches under these circumstances. ...

"We stay here when we meet my parents to go swimming and fishing on the river. The breakfast is always so yummy! They have an ice machine and everything g else a hotel would have (no tv in rooms). Great location great staff. "
