"The views from my room were magnificent. You could see the snow tipped mountains but there were also lots of misty fogs moving in and out, which provided a great visual. My room came with all the amenities, but it was not particularly clean. There were things under the bed and the carpet by the sliding glass door in the back was filthy. The water pressure in the shower is very faint. The staff was very nice and helpful, and all in all, it was worth the money. "

"We loved our stay at the Lake Tekapo Village Motel! The location is excellent--our room looked out on the lake and we were within minutes walk of the lake and all the main attractions such as the church and the Dark Sky Project. The staff were so friendly and happy to accomodate all of our needs. "Basic housing in a fairly new property. It's prefab bulit, so it's not fancy. It's on the smallish side. It's in a new section of town. There is no view of the lake."
