"Friendly staff, close to the station & Free Japanese breakfast "

"We checked in past midnight because the subway lines going to our station were closed already, so the alternative was to get there by taxi. When we reached the hotel, the front desk was waiting and immediately rushed us to our rooms. Easy, breezy late check-in!"

"Wonderful views from this hilltop hotel, but it's a long, steep walk back from the beaches! We took the hotel bus down to the beach and walked back after spending some time at the port. It's isolated, but there's a free bus from/to Toyohashi Station. The breakfast and dinner buffets are great, and much of the hotel has been recently renovated. Unfortunately they have changed the afternoon times for the onsen so that women have access to their part at 3pm but men from 5pm, which we found...

"Sea view, superb service, fantastic dinner with fresh sashimi and seafood. One of the best service I received from checking in to checking out. Though Onsen was normal but quite exclusive. Rustic small town. Best for weekdays get away from stressful city life "

"What I loved about this hotel was that, unlike other Japanese hotels, the rooms were big, and easy to move around in. Most Japanese Hotel rooms are basically closets with a bed. The only improvement I could think of would be to make indoor safes (for personal valuables) available in all the rooms."

"A quite area away from Nagoya where you can relax. It is near sea. Only few restaurants available but the bento from supermarket are great."

"Staff is great Rooms are clean and have an ok space for Japanese standards - but the windows are not really well kept (probably because it is right in front of a port) The outlet placement is inconvenient - no ports near beds Breakfast is good, but I wish they had more options - I felt that they prepare 'barely just enough' for guests."

"We booked this property as a layover for a roadtrip from Tokyo to Osaka, but we were pleasantly surprised by the property and the whole town. If we had time, we would’ve extended our stay. The bathhouse was very nice feature with long open hours. The beach was very nice, too. Not many dining options outside of the property. We found two izakaya places but the food options were not that good. If we come back to japan, we will definitely stay here again."
