"Good value. Perfect for family vacation (5 in our family). We arrived late (7PM) called ahead and staff welcomed us. Free on site parking. They don't speak English but are friendly. Room was non smoking and had no odor. But smoking is allowed in the hallways. In room bath is clean but old. After checking in, found Kura Sushi (kaiten style-inexpensive) 4 minutes walk! After dinner we tried the onsen bath at the hotel. Men's level was clean but women's level was a bit dirty. Next morning, girls...

"The breakfast was fantastic. The common bath was great for relaxation at the end of the day. The owner of the place, despite not speaking much English, was very helpful and there was pick up service from the train station. Only thing is that if you arrive later than 20:00 there won't be much happening around the area, nor there are anywhere to eat, which should be paid attention to as Ise is famous for its gourmet experience so you don't want to end up wasting your dinner chance at s convenient...

"Great dinner and breakfast. Enomous amount of food, including steak, lobster, fish, pork, rice, soup, dessert. Roof top onsen has a great view. The hotel is also walk distance to a famous sunset viewing spot. The room is a little bit old but clean and nice."

"答志島は何度か渡らせてもらって、他の宿に泊まったのですが、接客はどこにも引けは取らないといった感じ。女将さんは評判の美人さんで、帰りは船着場までお見送りまでしてくれました。お料理は食べきれないボリュームで、もずくの中にみかんが入っていて少し驚きましたが、良い酸味で美味しくいただきました。全体的に古い感じではありましたが清掃も行き渡り、気持ちよく過ごさせてもらいました^_^"

"Beautiful views over the Pacific Ocean in the open air onsen, would definitely recommend for that alone. Easily accessible by train from Nagoya city centre, however the train station has one bus (and no taxi stand) to the resort every couple of hours so organise ahead. For foreign tourists; the staff speak little English but try to be helpful!"

"This is a hidden gem that I literally stumbled upon. This area is famous for agriculture so the food was sourced locally and amazing. The staff is international so even if you don't speak much Japanese you will be fine. It is peaceful and fun to walk around the area. We even met a young tomato and melon farmer who showed us his greenhouse. It was like staying in a ancient Japanese palace in a very local village. The price was so worth it and the cafe and various places to use my PC made this...
