No lifts & bedrooms over two floors so there can be quite a few steps. All staff very friendly, helpful & polite. Bar closed 10.30pm even for residents Thursday which was a surprise. Just sitting in the bar having a drink by the huge historic fireplace was a wonderful experience! The grounds, walk to the canal and adjacent church were equally amazing.
