"Excellent location (right inside Galle Fort) and value for money. The owners were really welcoming, nice and helpful. B&B located in a smaller street of the Fort, thus providing calm. Room with a large bed, A/C, mosquito net and small balcony. We definitely recommend it! We got our breakfast in another hostel managed by the owners."

"You couldn’t ask for a better place to stay in Galle than this. One of the best places I’ve stayed in for a long time. I loved all the thoughtful touches of a cold juice when you arrive, flowers on the best and them putting on the ac before we arrived so we could arrive to a cool room. Free tea and coffee all day and the use of a fridge and freezer was amazing. Staff were also wonderful and very helpful. Couldn’t ask for more. "

Everything is old, broken, full of ants and dead flies, the showers have no doors, the pool looks like a horror film. Some other guests had a party until 5am and when we tried to find a member of staff to complain to there was no-one all night. And then they claimed the next morning there was no party. We tried to ask for a partial refund but the owner refused and made us pay 100%. The...

Thaproban beach restaurant is the best restaurant in the area and dining at the beach is wonderful experience. Best and delicious food. Worth for the money spent. "Why House is a wonderful place to stay in Sri Lanka. It's a beautiful oasis of calm - with a very warm welcome from Henrietta and all the staff and a beautiful setting. Our room was fantastic, perfect for our family with its upstairs area for the kids and beautiful mast bedroom and bathroom. The pool is a fantastic place to relax and swim - and when they switch on the lights at night it's truly magical.
