"Lovely views from our balcony and spacious room. Spa bath was a treat. Restaurant dinner was excellent and restaurant staff very helpful. Overall welcome was a bit cool and it was missing a few finishing touches. Pool was disappointingly small. Also a bit of noise in the early morning from the wharf nearby. "

"We got off the ferry from Wellington. and had short drive to this wonderful hotel. We stayed in the 3 bdrm 1 1/2 bath stand alone house next to the hotel. It seemed like a private residence. We really liked this house, the service was great. We had two sifferent staff help us with ac unit (eventually found remote(, and the TV (eventually found 3rd remote). The house was safe, clean, quiet and comfy. Parking was great."

"Tracee was super helpful and we were able to drop off luggage early so we could go explore. Nice guesthouse, decent sized room and bathroom. Bed made noise every time you moved but otherwise it was a good stay. "

"The property setting is incredible! Really hard to beat. Individual patios lead to waterfront where boats are moored. Hills beyond with easily reachable moderate hike of Snout's Track. Park at the Snout's Track Carpark and walk 40 mins to Queen Charlotte View. Modern rooms. Laundry very convenient. Owner Rachel is very helpful and upbeat! Town less than 5 mins drive."
